VIDEO: Mary Ray’s Final Crufts Performance

Last night it was announced that a Crufts tradition was coming to an end, with 2018 to be the final year to feature a ‘doggie dancing’ – or heelwork to music – performance by Mary Ray. Mary is credited with inventing the sport in 1990 and has performed at Crufts every year since 1992. This this would be her last hurrah was kept quiet until yesterday, although it was reported in the March 2018 Kennel Gazette and a blog post on her website dated 5 March 2018 implies that it was not her choice to stop
