In February 2018, the British Kennel Club launched their “Save the Forgotten Dog Breeds” Campaign, an extension of the Vulnerable Native Breeds project.
We here at Dogs In The News fully support this initiative to celebrate and promote British dog breeds; we recognise their place in our history and the need to ensure that they have a future. Follow our dedicated Twitter feed for regular updates and news stories about these special dogs.
You can also find graphics about the registration figures of these breeds between 2008 and 2017 on our Facebook page.
